Attention! The best Opponaut toy has been found!
It's only a Sunoco Camaro with a slot car set in the shape of Watkins Glen on top. Good lord, I wish I was rich.

That's a rather liberal interpretation of Watkin's Glen. I mean, the boot is there, but what happened to the back straight?

You're right, but between getting it to fit on the base and being able to keep the cars from flying off at every tight corner I'm sure some compromises had to be made. Besides, Sunoco Camaro!

Nope.

I'm a little sad they cut up a Camaro to do this

True, but you know it had to be a basket case and better this than rusting under a tarp until there was nothing left.

For 85 grand, I'd rather buy a working Z/28.

True, but if you're rich enough to buy a toy for $85k you can probably also afford the real car to go with it.

Haha, I was hoping for some affordable slot car setups. What I got: $85,000 from Hammacher Schlemmer.

I prefer the 917.

That's not Watkins Glen in the slightest.
